Projects, sessions and events
How ShockAI organises measurements: projects hold devices, devices record sessions, and each session holds the events you analyse.
Everything you record lands in the same three-level structure. Knowing it makes the rest of the platform predictable.
Projects
A project is a site or a campaign: one pit, one quarry, one contract. Projects hold the devices you deploy there, the blast plans you import, the compliance settings that apply, and every recording those devices send in. Members of your workspace see the same projects.
Sessions
A session is one deployment of one unit. When a ShotTrack unit is armed and left to monitor, everything it captures until you collect it belongs to that session. ViB sessions also carry the unit's recording settings and a session histogram of the peaks it saw, so you can tell a quiet week from a busy one at a glance.
Events
An event is a single recording inside a session: one blast, one trigger. ViB events hold the vibration and airblast traces; VoD events hold the cable-consumption trace for a shot. Events are what you open in the analysers, attach zones and holes to, and export as reports.
From a device to an analyser
- Send recordings from a unit into a project over Bluetooth or with ShockAI Sync.
- The platform processes each event and files it under its session.
- Open the event in the ViB Analyser or VoD Analyser from the project or session page.
- Export a report or CSV when the analysis is done.
